My Story
Hey, my name is Lucy and I’m the brains behind LMNOPottery. My initials are LMN, so it was only right to continue down the alphabet when naming my small business and shop.

Originally from Rogers Park, Chicago, my journey into pottery began at a very young

age while taking classes at Lillstreet Art Center in Ravenswood. As I got older and started to experience more of the vibrant culture of the city, my interest in the arts only deepened by being dragged to museums, markets, and fairs. Weekends and summer were centered around visiting my grandma’s studio, taking classes, or walking down the streets of one of the hundreds of local, summer art fairs in Chicago.

Today, I reside in Phoenix, Arizona, where my passion for the arts and pottery still burns bright. Although it may be halfway across the country from where I grew up, I found a little slice of Chicago and the art scene at PiP Coffee and Clay; where I spend more time than I’d like to admit, and where all of the unique pieces I make are made, glazed and fired.

Ceramics brings me immense joy, each piece is a labor of love, capturing the essence of the natural world and infusing it with a touch of enchantment – having some fun with it along the way.

I'm thrilled to share my passion with you and hope it brings a smile to your face.

Nothing is perfect—I am not perfect and do not make things that are perfect. I don’t measure or weigh anything to make things an exact copy of each other, and I like to think that this is what gives my ceramics its personality and makes each piece unique and special.
