What type of clay?
Several different clays are used. The white clays are ermine white stoneware with speckles, wh8 white stoneware or b-mix with speckles. The red clay is Sandia red. The black clay is ironstone.
How they are made?
Each animal is hand made and painted with love by me. They are shaped with stoneware clay, then painted with underglaze. Once dry, they go through bisque firing, before being clear glazed and then fired for a final time. All the bowls and cups are made on the wheel, turned and trimmed before going through the same firing and glazing process as the animals.
Do you take commissions?
Yes. Currently only taking commissions for animals. If interested please contact me for information.
How are they packaged & shipped?
All ceramics are secured in bubble wrap and newspaper then placed in their own box. Unfortunately, shipping is not free. All orders hopefully will be shipped out within a week of their order and then it's up to the shipping gods for when it gets to your doorstep.
Returns?
Sorry, I do not offer returns. If anything is broken during transit let me know and we can sort things out.
